The gorgeous contrast and the quiet was stunning. This view was actually where someone had gone off trail after something. It was a nice path leading the eye into the display of lace and frosting. Petrie Island is a small oasis of wild in an urban setting. Views like this could be otherwise remote and hard to get to. We are fortunate to have this island so easily accessible to enjoy. We need to care for Petrie and its wildlife so it is around for our children’s children.
