With the roller coaster hot whether we’ve been having, most of the flowers and our trees have had a hard time this year and our grass has the look of hay stubble. One bright spot has been the campanulas and the hostas which have managed to produce their delicate blooms on slender stems that seem to defy gravity despite the hot spells. It has been a challenge to render “delicate”.
