We are well into winter now with frigid temps, persistent snow and January blues – we didn’t get much sun inJanuary this year.
Never mind, if winter fun is not your thing, it’s nice to dream of July days on Petrie (forgetting of course the heat … maybe I’ll need to paint winter scenes in the summer).
There are days when the sky is something to look at. This was one of them. The clouds were magnificent; all movement and a real sense of the space stretching away in the distance. In contrast, the inlet was calm and feeling restful and safe.
By the way, if you’re wondering where are the Canada geese, ducks, herons, turtles, beaver and musk rats, they’re in among the rushes – being discrete. LOL
